Qualifications
1. Education: PhD (or imminent completion) in Urban/Regional Economics, Geographic Information Science, Human Geography, Transportation Planning, Data Science, or related fields from a reputable university. Applicants must be under 35 years old.
2. Publication Record: At least two high-quality peer-reviewed papers.
3. Skills: Independent research capability, proficiency in relevant theories/methods, strong motivation, hands-on ability, and fluency in English (writing and communication).
4. Commitment: Full-time dedication to postdoctoral research at PKU.
5. Personal Attributes: Excellent health, responsibility, teamwork, and communication skills.
6. Compliance: Meet all PKU postdoctoral recruitment criteria.
Salary and Benefits
1. Two-year Appointment:
o Annual salary: 300,000–340,000 RMB (pre-tax), including:
§ Base salary: 120,000–160,000 RMB/year (with social insurance/housing fund)
§ Shenzhen Postdoctoral Living Subsidy: 180,000 RMB/year (for 2 years)
2. Performance Bonuses: Additional rewards for research achievements.
3. Post-Completion Support:
o Shenzhen Research Grant: 300,000 RMB for those remaining in Shenzhen with ≥3-year employment contracts.
o Talent Subsidies: Eligibility for Shenzhen talent programs (subject to latest policies).
4. Funding Opportunities: Assistance in applying for:
o China Postdoctoral Science Foundation
o NSFC Youth Program
o Guangdong/Shenzhen Natural Science Funds
